In August 2017, a potential client from Zaporozhye approached us with the task of bringing an online store of building materials and rolled metal products to the TOP10. We were immediately made to understand that resources were limited and it was necessary to achieve the goal with the maximum possible budget savings.
We, in turn, explained to the client the telemarketing data dependence of the budget on the time of obtaining significant results. The larger the budget, the faster (within reasonable limits) the set goals can be achieved. If the budget is limited, we expect to obtain good positions in 6-12 months. We agreed on our plan.
Active actions
Due to the clear focus, we initially focused all our efforts on internal optimization for regional queries. In our work, we took into account not only the name of the region, but also the cities in the region: Vasilyevka, Dneprorudnoye, Energodar, Melitopol, Primorsk, Orekhov, Tokmak, Pologi, Gulyaipole, Kuibyshevo, Volnyansk, Novonikolayevka, Pokrovskoe, Chernigovka, Tomakovka, Marganets, Slavgorod, Smirnovo, Bolshaya Belozerka, Kamyshevakha, Kamenka-Dneprovskaya.
The following work was carried out on the internal optimization of the site:
- Setting up meta tags and site titles using masks.
- We compiled a list of recommendations for improving the semantic optimization of the site and monitored the implementation of sault data tasks by the project developer.
- We have compiled a semantic core for the region.
- Wrote the content and posted it.
The semantics were slightly refined and expanded, and new content was written from month to month.
In the area of external optimization:
- Developed a link building strategy.
- Using crowd marketing and working with exchanges, we made more than 70 unique links and 400 referring pages for the client’s site. All of them are certainly eternal.

Problems
Due to the lack of stability in the client’s 7 smm kpis to track on social media payments, we were unable to achieve our goals as quickly as possible. If we calculate the number of months from the first contact to the result described in the case, we needed as many as 11 months. Although the actual work lasted 7 months, which is equivalent to the number of payments.
Victories
As a result of our work, the project not only reached good positions in Zaporozhye and the region, but also achieved good results throughout Ukraine.

This was a pleasant bonus for our client. Let us recall that the budget was limited and aimed only at development in the region. The task of expanding the geography was planned to be discussed at the next stages.
During the work, all other indicators increased: visibility, number of words in the TOP 100.
