Strange SEO portfolio or questionable website promotion services

Another find on the web, which gave me a reason to write this article. Let’s talk and look at the portfolio of a site providing SEO promotion services.

I read about this company in an online business magazine. The main activity of this company is SEO website promotion services, although they also do development. 3 years on the market. And according to the owner, they have a monthly income of more than 3 million rubles.

But it was presented as a successful startup case. At the end of the article there was a link to their website. Naturally, I decided to take a look, since the topic of SEO promotion has been of interest to me for a long time due to my line of work.

Of course, I go to the portfolio to see the results of their work on sites. There are many examples of sites that they brought to the TOP of Yandex for certain key queries.
Doubts
But what caught my eye… There were many screenshots from Yandex search results (see the picture below), but apart from the title, there was no description. What was done, how long did they promote it, for what queries, what was the traffic increase, what was the CTR, and so on…

The second thing I noticed was the keywords themselves. Many of them were long tail. Here’s one example from their portfolio:

Let’s say we take the keyword “Travel to Kamchatka”. Its basic frequency will be 547 queries per month. And this is without specifying greece phone number library the region and without exact match.

If we look at the line “Travel to Kamchatka + by car”, the frequency will be only 21. This means that people enter such a phrase much less often…
And pay attention, then I add the tail “in the summer” to the main phrase and what do we see?

Do you think it is difficult to promote a site to the first page of Yandex for a request with a frequency of 1? And is it necessary to do this at all?

If you add 2017 to the end, the why i don’t use social media result is obvious. There are no queries for such a key. This is a junk query that should not be included in the site core. And even more so, promoted by it. And even more so, the studio should not show such an example job data in its portfolio.
Of course, this query has a seasonality. Maybe I’m wrong.
